Automatic annotation of images with descriptive tags

Academic Project - Machine Learning
A system that annotates images with descriptive tags by learning from a corpus of images with metadata tags. Annotations will describe an image like the way a normal human brain tags them on photo-sharing websites like Flickr, Picasa.


Academic Project - Open Systems Lab
Ruby gem along with a shell interface through which user can issue the commands on a document corpus to get different semantic associations like Topical Anchor, Semantic Siblings, Topical Markers Topic Expansion, on an input query.

Cake cutting on a Cloud

Academic Project - Operating Systems
Developed an algorithm (inspired from Dynamic DRF algorithm) for fair division of CPU resources among HPC agents. Used CloudStack source to implement and test the algorithm.

e-Voting system using Bank ATM Terminals

Academic Project - Software Engineering
Developed a bunch of RESTful Web services in Java to accomplish the robust e-Voting system adhering to all the voting processes, ready to be deployed on Micro/ATM Terminals.
Also delivered a talk on the implementation (ATM Terminal Services the RESTful Way) at the JavaOne India 2013 conference. The deck is available on Slideshare
